This way they will always do it instead of doing it most of the time. I once had 2 comps actually engage in a duel...time for me to creep in peace.

Then again, I don't know what the hell makes the creeps hunt you down with the comps, even when I test them in my computer they don't seem to be doing that.

There is still that critical error?, Is it still related to duels?

There is a way to get gold without dying, join a duel

And dying is not the way into geting gold cause the gold you get depends on the quality of your kills and the time you survived.

Feedback of the fel beasts is an orb of mana burn actually, I would go to change the disabled icon soon.

Random events actually happen, likelly a titan would appear or a neutral hero, killing them would give major bounty and an artifact, more events are going to be added too.


I don't know what to do with the mech warrior's ultimate, the cone shaped skill of my spell map is actually used in my map for the ranger (now it is called arrow storm) , I think I will make the rockets homing

Anyways thanks a lot for your feedback people, I'd like some events suggestions, probably the bounty thing but I dunno, anyways I don't want events that need to be announced, nor events that completelly distract you from the main arena gameplay, that's why I don't like dataangel's arena #_#

Edit: no gem of true seeing is going to be added, even so more heroes will have a way of geting invisible, you'll have to use items like the dust of appearance or sentry wards or wand of shadowsight to prevent them fooling you, or get a hero with a reveal skill in your team.

I heard of a 1.15 bug that makes fountains more powerful probably that is going to give me probles.

I think I would replace the fountains with something ...

I'll go and test for that glitch for you and some specifics, but from what I do know:
  1. It usually happens mid to late game
  2. My Hero is usually around level 10
  3. It's almost always during some sort of fight
  4. I've only tested against 1 computer
  5. It begins with a nasty freeze-lag effect, followed by the game crashing
  6. I always have the world editor running in the background

I will play the game a pay close attention to the time, events, levels, and Heroes\unit involved and then return here with the information.

If it has a freeze before, I am now sure it has nothing to do with execute func, probably it is the ai bug that caused the crash with the duels, sometimes happening when it is not duel.

Edit: about the black titan not appearing, it is really weird, since its model is not imported #|

Alright, I have more specific information about a recent crash:
  1. I was level 11
  2. It happened on level up
  3. I had just killed a Witch Docter com
  4. It was not a duel
  5. A few seconds earlier a random computer Hero had died (A firemage)
  6. I was a fire mage
  7. There were less then 6 minutes of a 20 minute ame remaining
  8. It was 1 versus 1; Me against the com
  9. I had the Deathlord Shield, Gloves, Hammer, and the Fire Armor

Also, I have a few more problems for you:
  • Fire Elementals are too slow
  • Fire Elementals are much slower and weaker then their water elemental realtives

I am going to do some changes to the burning mage I am going to change brilliance with an aura that shall improve the fire elementals, and make flamestrike heal them.

Probably will make the fire elementals melee or give them a phoenix fire kind ability instead of permanent immolation.

I am still thinking about that.

Edit: A witch doctor?, You mean shadow hunter, right?

If you just killed that hero, and the crash was caused after the dead, then the chances are that it is caused by the AI bug probably. The AI bug happens when the map tries to buy an item for a neutral passive hero, I thought it could only happen on duel moments, but it probably happens sometimes too.

edit II: did the shadow hunter die close to a marketplace?

No, it wasn't near any neutral building whatsoever. Could it be the way you hid the triggers?

[edit] - Chain Burning does not work right. It doesn't do damage and only bounces sometimes.

     - Hopefully fixed a random crash.
     - Optimized some of the functions and removed some that aren't being used.
     - Intelligence will increase 1 armor and 1 damage of summons per 3 intelligence points above
       15, it was 1 armor/damage per 2 intelligence points above 15 before, This means summons in
       general were nerfed.
     - Fixed a bug that made Black Titan invisible.
     - Now, If someone kills all the chaos images, the death would count.

     - My Bad, accidentally left silly debugging messages in the Summon Template, please ignore
       messages like "scale == 0.678"

I tested this version and I did not recieve the crash bug. However, I did notice the new Beastmaster and a few bugs. Here we go again with the list of glitches\balance problems. Also, I have a new replay that showcases the evil-cheapness of com huuntings, fountains of health, and, the much more rare then before, mass-level up on death problem. This can be found at the bottom of my post:
  • Invisibility Potions: The Greater postions of Invisibility shouldn't last so long... (40 some seconds!) This allows the computers to go fully heal, which is cheap. This turns the game into an invisibility postion mass.
  • Set Items: I played a 15 minute game and didn't find more then 1 set item. set items have been less and less common with each update... Please increase the probbility of getting set items.
  • Spelling: Just a few minor problems with spelling. The first is in the discription of Elemental Balance, strength is spelt "strenght". The other problem is on the time selection area, it says "15 minutes game" where it should be "15 minute game". I am relatively sure that this is repeated on all the time selects.
  • Beastmaster: The Beastmaster is missing his fifth ability. Also, he needs to recieve some nerfs... If you just learn Summon Hawk and Summon Bear, you dominate...
  • Archmage - Slow: This move allows the Archmage to absolutely dominate anyone who isn't a summoner. My Tinker was mass-slowed constantly up to the point when he learned pocket factory, which created minions to destract the mage, and when he learned Robo-Goblin, because he was immune.
  • Archmage - Water Elemental: This move needs serious nerfing. I was fighting water elementals that did more damage then a Tinker at level 9 in robot form! Add that with the fact you could have up to three out at a time and you have absolute dominance of the archmage.
  • Regeneration: I know that I have complained about this several times, but it is really galling that the computers regenerate at about 10-15 HP per second when at a fountain! I was fighting an Archmage of which was an equal level as my Tinker. He was by a fountain and was regenerating so fast that he was HEALING despite the fact he was almost dead on arrival and being constantly attacked. This is CHEAP. Please fix it.
    Edit - I now have a replay to prove it! See below.
  • Levels on-Death: Although I have not experienced it much, I did recently experience the problem of the computer gaining massive levels on it's death. every time it died, it gained two levels above my current one. This is cheap. If you don't belive me, then watch the replay I have attached. More information on that is below.
  • Mechwarrior's Ultimate: Nerf this ability. It instant killed my full health (1250 HP) Beastmaster. This is very cheap and should be fixed. Otherwise, the move is very nice.
  • Helping with the Fountains: This is a suggestion for a possible action to help nerf the fountains. Make two items, Staff of Disruption and Staff of Reversal. The disruption staff can be cast on the fountain and it instantly destroys the fountain. THis will help because when you have to destroy the fountain manually, the com has regenerated by the time you succeed. The reversal staff would actually reverse the effects of the fountain temporarily by causing it to degenerate your life. It would be best if these staves could be puchased both within and without of your town. Another pssible course of action is a specific area where the fountains reside. One may not stay for more then 30 seconds and then must wait 60 seconds (or die) to enter again. This would stop fountain abuse.
  • Dueling Rune: The dueling rune to the left often does not catch like it should. When you walk on it, the rune doesn't trigger and you often have to try several times. Also, when the com is ready to duel, if you walk past it, it will leave the rune and attack you.

Replay That Shows the Evil Cheapness of On Death Level Ups, Fountains of Health, and Com Huntings!

The attached replay showcases several good examples of coms hunting you relentlessly, creep|com bashes, massive on-death level ups and the massive cheaposity of the Archmage who took on all of this and still won. Please observe this replay so that you can truely see what it is I'm complaing about when I say these things. I said things during the game to point out various things. Hopefully, this will appear on the replay.

Well, I gotta say with 6 humans and 6 computers this game was loads of fun. The madness of the many summoned units from Warlocks matched against a Ranger with 4 Boots of Quel'Thalas and Arrow Storm is a nice thing to watch.

On to the important stuff. Got a fatal error (oh no!). It occured when I killed off a hero creep with Arrow Storm. I think it crashes whenever you kill a creep that's a hero. That seems to be the case anyhow.

Also, I'm the only one so far to fill out the survey on the status of .503. Come on guys, I wanna see what everyone else thinks.

Alright, after tonight, I have forced a Fatal Error three times. That's three. So for sure now, it crashes when one of those really powerful neutral hostile heroes dies. Good night ^_^

I accidentally left the beastmaster before finishing / nerfing him, sorry (was testing a trigger enhanced stampede)

Edit: It is fun how death missiles can be incredibly imbalanced in sometimes and not working at all in others, I really have to do something about that

Edit II: didn't change anything from the item chances since the first beta, so there is no reason of set items not appearing besides the fact that creeps no longer have a big range of movement
