Guest | I had tried to use the spell editor provided in this web site , but i had found some difficulties while using it. The spell editor required to load a file with the format '*.slk', but i can only find 2 file with this format in the warcraft3 folder(including mini-folder).They are "UnitMetaData" and "UnitUI". When I try to load either one of them , the spell editor cause an error and closed. Can anyone teach me how to use it, please? The spell editor is called 'Spell Editor - by wiebbe ' |

you ahve to extract it from war3.mpq and/or war3patch.mpq use mpq view, open war3.mpq, find abilitydata.slk or wutever, and extract it. that is it. |

Guest | 1.) Get WinMPQ, that program just ownz. 2.) You need the AbilityData.slk and alot of txt files from war3.mpq AND war3patch.mpq (<- newer versions, but has not all). 3.) Take a look at the 101 Spell Tutorial and Faramirs Spell Tutorial. Both are in this Forum, 1 is sticky. |
