This is a screen of me and my brothers upcoming RPG it isnt actualy a full terrain but more of a concept screenshot of a common forest i thought it might suit the terrain section anyway but it is also my first picture posted so i hope you like it the RPG has no planned time to be ready we are still making it. terrain / name are not made yet but we have done much else like make camera/movment/attacking which by the way will all be differant from the normal warcraft setup but back onto the picture there are 7 becouse i wanted to have people in one and none in another ... then i couldent decide which people. Update: I have totaly remade the whole thing it wasnt good enough befor but lets see how it looks now The first is the picture the second is the picture with dulled lighting effects the third is the picture with no lighting effects the fourth and fifth are the same as others exept no dulled version and they have a person |

A few suggestions. The ground tile you used doesn't really fit with the trees because it's purple and the trees are green, so I guess it's more made for night elf stuff. Also, the grass model you used is REALLY ugly, and also doesn't go with the ground texture. Finally, and most importantly, it looks like there are many many suns in this planet. Dunno if you wanted that, but may I suggest you check out this tutorial? http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=99116 |

well the idea was that the light was shining through the trees like rays but i see your point the sun is in one place so all light would go in one direction also thanks for the link i need to know how to do lighting i will try a thin green fog to it may look a little more foresty. EDIT: i have updated the first post see new pics there |

ow. my eyes. TOO BRIGHT! *ahem* the first row was better. Also, just go to Scenario in the editor and click Map Options. You can give your map the sun rays there. Hope that helps. ____ Also, the third picture in the second row is perfect for the lighting and textures. Plz just try what I mentioned. PLEASE! O.O The super-lighting HURTS!! XP |
