wow. haven't seen a good mech in ages. Very well done. I think it would pwn for the birth animation to be the wireframe and the texture scrols from the bottom and covers the entire thing. Just a suggestion, if possible, it would look cool. |

I know how they are "born". I'm just saying that it would look kinda cool. You should try imagining it (if you can). No hard feelings. |

Whats the deal with animating effects like that anyway? would you have to have 2 models, one skinned and one wireframe, and then fade the skinned one in or sumthing? (perhaps with some greenish filters+glows to make it look like its being digitalised) It would be cool to show abilities like digital armor or cloaking |

You would need a wireframe texture which would be a bitch depending on how the skin wrapped on the model. |

Perhaps if you used crisper more well-defined lines instead a texture with brush-colored lines, it would look better. Mechs need to look detailed and crisp. Maybe you could vector the entire texture with a bit of shading. Looks incredible though :) |

Hmmm... I see your point. Their would need to be a second texture. I don't know if that could be done. Perhaps, a seperate spell would give the apperance? Is that possible? |
