+At last, my project has been finished, after 1 month of hard working.. +Ladies and Gentlemen, i am hornred to present you the map "Neverwinter Nights".. +Credit: Press F9 +Map infor: As the name may implied, my map is a simulation, an effort to bring the great RPG "Neverwinter Nights" into Warcraft. This is a long game, so here i made chapter1... following chapter will be releasing soon. ^^ +That large 3.9MB+ map size is for the sound and many imported files. Sorry, but it you want an interested map, especially RPG, you should import. thats also the reason for the "Single player" of the game. +You main quests in this game is finding the four "Waterdhavian creatures" to help cure the "Waling Death", horrible plague which is spreading through Neverwinter City, you can find more information on this by pressing F9. +At first, u can choose one of the 12 DnD classes to begin with, each class has 4 spells and the ability to learn Feats each two levels (press ESC to learn). Each class has 4 feats, while Paladin and Monk has 8 for each. +There r 4 Henchman available in game: 3 in the City of Neverwinter and 1 after u have solved an optional quest. To hire them, u must have at least 100 gold in pocket, and ur current henchman has been dismissed. (Note that 1 dead Henchman does not mean a dismissed henchman, if dead, they will respawn at Temple of Tyr) +To interact with a NPC, just go near and click to select him/her. +The max level each hero can reach is 20. +You can go freely between Districts, but i strong recommend that you follow this order to finish the main quest: Peninsula District, Beggar's Nest, Blacklake District and Dock District. .................................................. ...... +Do u know that: -The original map has a total of 25000 doodads (mainly indoor scene and structures) -The original map used the Houseframework which is a really cool system. -The map is unlock, but please do not Mod it withour my permission. .................................................. ..... +Thats all, thanks for ur reading, Any suggestion, comment or vote will be appriciated. Now is the time for downloading: http://epicwar.com/maps/54418/ http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view...Detail&id=5753 http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource.php?t=83441 |

Hey Leopard, I gave your map a try. It's good, congratulations on finishing it! Here is a list of the bugs I found: - Sometimes you get trapped behind your henchmen - I can't pick up heavy shield even though I have heavy armor proficiency - Sometimes henchman loses track of you - Diseased tooltip is incomplete - One of the cultists stopped attacking me after awhile, and he was no longer my enemy Some suggestions: - You could make a command like dismiss except different, to help you solve the henchmen trapping problem. For example, it could be "back" and it would tell the henchman to move a ways away from you so you could move again. - I would be more than happy to help smooth out some of your english problems. - The map description is too large, it doesn't fit (before you push start in the game menu) - Maybe you should make your starting town constantly visible? To do that, just make a region where the town is and then use a visibility trigger to make it always visible. Good job dude! |

+Ok, i've just uploaded my to epicwar. +These are updates: -Type "dismiss" to dismiss a henchman. -Well, Furion, that shield problem is not a bug, to wear a shield, u must have "Shield Proficience" feat. -Fixed a bug with the quest "Animal'a rescue" -Fixed a bug with the quest "A strange Cult" ......................................................... |

Okay tried it, and the gameplay is too...awkward. I finished the beginning places and then I went to the Blacklake District but it didn't let me finish a quest, so I went to the docks, but alot of the quests in the game aren't fully typed out so I'm completely lost with no quests able to hand in. IMO you should fix up some quests first as some are quite buggy. |

+You should really follow this order: Peneinsula District, Beggar's Nest, Blacklake District and Dock District. Then you should have no problem, im sure. |

Hey Leopard, I tried the new version. I found a new bug. As a Paladin who had selected the divine health, knockback, and critical chance feats, I suddenly had access to all feats even though I hadn't earned them. For example, I had armor and shield proficiencies though I hadn't earned them. Also, I couldn't seem to complete the Strange Cult quest. I killed all the cult members but the quest menu did not change and talking to the guy yielded no results. Is there more I needed to do? I think if there is an experience penalty for dying you should spawn random creeps every 60 seconds or so when you are in a zone, otherwise you will never be able to catch up. Lots of the tooltips still have typoes or are incomplete or reference the wrong attributes (agility instead of dexterity). Want me to fix them for you? The knock unconscious ability one of the bad guys had needs a longer cooldown. He just kept on doing it repeatedly until I died, I couldn't do anything to stop him or run away. My knockdown ability always missed. Gameplay improved a lot between 2.0 and 2.2, it just runs smoother and is more fun to play. Good job! Also, maybe you should update the thread title to Neverwinter Nights 2.2 to show all the hard work you have been putting in. |
