disabling hero revive for specific heroes

Is there anyway to disable a heroes revive function in the object editor, or via triggers?

I'm using some as summons in order to have flexibility over the stats, but I can't get it so they wont show up at the altars.

You could try changing their owner to a neutral on death, and later removing them.
