Object Scaling "Hotkey"; Exists?

I want a way of changing a unit's scale (I think) without having to constantly go into the OE. If this is possible, it'll make my terrains at least 4x easier, as I focus heavily on detail.

The only person I have talked to said that they "must have hacked the system somehow"; if this is true, please provide info on how they may have (though I think I'm missing something very simple here).

Any information you have, please let me know.

Thank you for your time.

Units scale? Gotta go in through the object editor.

DOODAD scale, is possible, but I don't think it works with things like destructibles.
Pressing [page up] on a doodad, given it can be changed, will make it TALLER. [page down] makes it shorter.
Pressing [home] on a doodad makes it fatter. Pressing [end] makes it skinnier.

Thank you, though it doesn't exactly solve the problem.

It changes the "height" doodads only, it seems, and not even trees (this person was changing the tree height too, in the video, along with fences). In the video, I could tell the actual scale is changed (the whole model "shrinks"). Is there no way to do this with units?

Finding a way for this to be done would immensely help terraining, of course, if it's possible....

I don't see him do it to trees. Fences, yes, but that's because they are not destructibles.

He didn't shrink them, just lowered them into the ground. Ctrl + PageDown.
Works for doodads and destructibles. Not units.

I don't see how editing units is supposed to make terraining easier. oO

Right. Tree's are destructibles. Now, if you make said tree into a doodad with pathing equivalent to a tree, it should work fine.
But it helps to set the min-max size on all doodads you plan on using farther apart than the (normally standard) .80~.90 -> 1.10

And yea, the only thing he modified were the fences.

I am certain there is a video where they had trees' scale size changed... (Lo_0]^\/<[>_<]

Is it possible to conveniently alter all doodads' min & max scaling degrees?

Not that I know of.
It's possible there's some map out there with all the doodad's sizes re-sized to allow more easy changing, but doing that for a map like UTM would be tedious and boring, I'd assume.
