Requesting: Weapon and armor icons

Sup all,

I need icons that can represent weapons for a RPG game i am making. Unfortunately i'm no artist and i couldn't make an icon for warcraft III if it meant saving my nuts.

Is there anyone who would be willing to create these icons for me. The big issue is that even though theres plenty of brilliant icons on this site they're all to, for lack of a better term, extravagent. They look more like ability icons.

I need something that just shows a good image of the weapon and that looks bloody cool. eg. a brutal looking axe with a black backround.
I need icons for:

• sword(s)
• axe(s)
• bow(s)
• hammer(s)
• mace(s)
• armor(leather; chainmail; plate; any others; possibly varying qualities)

...and btw i would try "helmet" and "hood" and "crossbow"... etc
but ofc you have to download them yourself ;P

+the wc3 standart ones (upgrades and items...) there are ALOT of them allready there.

(since the hive's "seek" option works correctly, it has become really easy to find stuff like that.)

It's much more convenient downloading from my link because it has them all in .zip files for each type, rather than having to download one at a time.

Thanks i'll take a look. Problem is i'm look for more varied options than just simply the Warcraft standards. I know its an ass load of work.

i just ment, there was a time, when you clicked on the search button at the hiveworkshop.com you get no really usefull results. but i guess they have updated this function...

obviously dusk had something better^^
