The Bottom Feeder

It's going to be for the creature of the weak competition over at conceptart.org
The little black stick-figure is a size comparison, as well as where the view point is going to be in the final concept.

The Bottom Feeder is basically a giant garbage truck of the ocean. It swoops down upon the sea floor and scuttles in waste products with the appendages at the front of its mouth

I actually JUST got into this. I haven't done a concept in awhile, and last one did sucked as I remember. Improvement in modeling/texturing has helped out with my skills I guess

Squid

The Creeper Squid slowly moves along the the giant Bottom Feeder, cleaning the shell by eating tiny particles of dust, muck, etc.

maybe you should try to get a more oceanic background color, to get the vibe right.
