I've been designing an AoS terrain but coming across a few difficulties. Luckily I have lots of screenshots so ppl will know what i'm trying to ask, hopefully atleast. How did this guy do this? The water on the cliffs ![]() My attempt (Fail) ![]() ==== How did vile make these beaches but still able to make water on cliffs. (I asked him, he can't remember :p) I always thought in order to make beachers, you have to make the whole terrain water and build it up from there. However if you do that you cant place water at different height levels right? ![]() My attempt (Fail) ![]() Any terraining tips for the above would be appreciated, thx |

Theres something like Advanced-> Enforce Water Limits. Just uncheck that in the editor and place water freely, but be careful as it can cause pathing problems. |

For the first one, that's just a glitch in wc3. Sometimes water screws up like that. You'll have to mess around with smoothing to fix that. The different water heights is quite simple. This tutorial will show you! There is no need to make a whole terrain water first, then raise. That is usually reserved for terrain art, and only when you have one layer of water. |

The is also a water model in the UTM. But then you would have to make the units float on that to. |

Cool, I see the Frost Lord model and some sort of Naga->Undead skin. Nice. :P |

How helpful. I would suggest using a water doodad for simplicities sake. |
