I think the risk should be knocked back a few hundred years. Make the gameplay exactly the same, but change some unit names/skins, i touched apon this on an earlier post but ill go into more detail here: Rifleman (change name to Gunman?) Stats: The Same as before Skin: Shogun infanty skin for chiese/japanese/indonesian Peasant-with-gun skin for Russian and eastern europe Hooded-peasant-with-gun skin for arabian countries. Knight(Changed to cavalry for russia+east europe; raider for arabian countries and Horseman for China/Japan/Indonesia) Stats: The same Skins: (Shogun horseman for china etc.; Peasant-on-horse for russia etc.; and raider or ill look for another skin for arabia. Tanks(Name to Cannons?) Stats: Ranging from 2 morter damage to 5 time morter damage depending on which cannon you buy. Range goes from current morter range to this range +100, and they have lower hitpoints and armour, slighly more splash then morter, same attack speed or slower. SkinsI havent looked into these skins but i shall so so tomorrow - perhaps there are howitzer skins. Names: From cheapest to most costly: Ain Jalut Cannon, Egyptian Fire Lance, scopettieri cannon, 1681 Field Howitzer I can do same for ships+healers+morters+general if u like some of these ideas, if not then i wont# Note: these units are exactly the same as revo units - except for tanks - but they have new skins |

You could maybe give the game some more olden men. Swordsmen (Normal Melee attack; heavy armour; 33-35 damage; medium/fast attack speed; 250HP; normal movement) Light infanty (Normal Melee attack; light armour; 25-27 damage; fast attack speed; 200 hp; normal/fast movement) Pikemen (Piercing melee attack; 37-40 damage; unarmoured; fast attack speed; 150 hp; normal movement) Archers (450 Ranged attack; 28-34 damage; unarmoured; fast attack speed; 145 hp; normal movement) Crossbowmen (300 Ranged attack; 35-37 damage; heavy armour (but low); medium attack speed; 175hp; normal movement) Paladins (Mounted; normal attack; 40-43 damage; heavy armour; fast attack speed; 300 hp; fast movement) Hussars (Mounted; piercing attack; 31-35 damage; medium armour; fast/v fast attack speed; 225hp; very fast movement) Hand cannoneers (350 Ranged; 45-50 damage; unarmoured; slow attack speed; 150 hp; slow movement) Balista (650 siege ranged; 78-83 damage; heavy armour; very slow attack speed; 500 hp; slow movement) These stats are just estimates, and i have not properly tested them. If you like the concept i can have a very simple beta made that tests the stats + i can make ships Note: medium/fast attack speed is in between med and fast ; likewise fast/very fast is not v fast but more than fast :) |

if im honest i think the revo units (except for tank) are perfect, and i wont use any other modes :P but ill still suggest some if u want |
