In Final Fantasy, there's an infamous spell called Roulette, that randomly selects any character and enemy (that are alive) within action of the battle. When it starts, the random selection (an icon that designates the one to be killed) is very fast, but gradually slows to a stop, and does insta-kill on the one it lands on. Is there any way of furfilling that in Warcraft? |

What context are you talking, just any unit in the normal game or do you have a turn based system like FF? If it is in real time is it a spell, whats the range etc. But ya the basic concept is conceivable pretty easily. |

Well, were it to work in a normal game, I would have to say that it would only occur within a certain AoE. Now, I suppose the problem is, should it only occur to the ones that bother to stay inside the AoE, or should it exclude those too far out of range to be considered Roulette targets? I prefer neither. If the units within the AoE from when the spell starts, they're stuck as possible targets. I just thought that having Death Roulette for a spell working in Warcraft would be pretty awesome. |

Yeah, that's actually kind of easy... I think. |
