Guest | This is my First Skin EVER for ANY game. all criticism would rock! |

The face is a bit pale, but the skin texture is very nicely done if you were aiming for orc. The armor is a bit warped/blurred, and it could use some more detail(The armor on all of her body) Otherwise GJ for a first :D |

hey in the future Imran, put your skins in the forum called gallies cause when peeps want to look at and judge skins (and models) they go there |

Guest | whoops..good call about the moving thing...... I can't move the thread to gallery tho, can an admin do it for my, by the way, how can i make good armor? |

first of all, I don't suggest editing armor, but only darkne, dodge, sponge, and sharpen when editing armor because not really anyone exept ZZzz or PencilGod have truly succeded in making customized armor THAT I KNOW OF. |

Guest | here's an updated shot - the armor is a little warped (i will fix) and the face is a bit off color with the rest of the body (i really need to fix) and the little crescent on the shoulder represents teamcolor ![]() |

Guest | awesome job. you might want to add a border around the crescent moon, so it looks better. keep up the good work. |

Moved. Skinning armor is the easiest thing ever. You need 4 things: 1. A new grey scale image, background 50% grey 2. The dodge tool, mostly on highlights, sometimes midtones. Use size 2, 3, 5 and 9. 3. The burn tool, mostly on highlights. Use size 3, 5 and 9. 4. The line tool on 60% opacity to draw black outlines to accent the shadows. Use these and you've made yourself good armor in no time! PS.: For a lot of people here wc3 is the first game they skinned, including me :D . |

Guest | actually pencil I did do some dodging like that, the problem is that I can never get the shadowed outlines to line up with the model, is there an easier way to preview models without closing WE, opening it, and loading the map? |

A skinned for quake 3 and DAMN is it HARD to make it look good. The nice thing is the game itself does the shading for you and nothing gets warped, cause the guy just stands in the Quake 3 skinning tool and you turn him around like model editing. About your skin, nice job on the armor. Its fixed alot from the first, but the face is still pale, otherwise try to add more detail to the armor. |

i like the skin, try to change it a bit though. Give it some variety in design on the metal and also on the face. Make some dents and dings and maybe for the bottom portion you should add more variety to the colors because black gets dull after awhile. :D -DISMISSED  :hammer: - |

Guest | facial paling - I have a problem with faces , im trying to add depth to the face as we speak, anyone have ideas? As for the armor - yea, its not finalized, but I'm thinking of removing the left shoulder (right on the pic) entirely, but the problem there is that would create a blank shoulder on the model :(, also, I was thinking about modding it with demon wings - should i or shoudn't i? PS: Thanks for the concern boys! |

how about you alpha out a strap of it exept for a small chunk and use whats left of it for the shoulder? I also suggest copy and paste a small bit of skin from her body and put it on here cheek, then blend around from there? |
