I'm taking a crack at scratch modeling, and I hope this is the right forum. Any ways, Here's a two-sided card (both sides are exactly the same) without animations. I'm still thinking on what animations I could add, and how I'm going to add them.
I know that I probably won't use this for my current project (see my sig), but it will at least let me practice. Please, Comments, Critisisisms.

EDIT: Added an editor screeny of the missile

EDIT2: I'm going to temporarily put the attachments back up. If you guys want me to try to submit then I will. After I make an icon... actually, An Icon wouldn't really be needed, but I need all the practice I can get.

EDIT3: Just kidding! I submitted the model(s) here.

What's to say...it's a plane with a texture. Easily made in 2 seconds. This isn't really modeling, it's a basic primitive.

Ok... Well... Hmm... I'd still like to get it animated. er. Animate it myself .

EDIT: you sir, are right. It took very little effort to convert it to a missle. I tested it ingame, but never got a good shot of it flying. Anyway, here it is...

EDIT2: Removed attachments on purpleous

The spinning animation is very good, the looping isn't apparent and it's not too regular.

Move on to something more complex. If you want to learn to model, I found modeling a critter to be a good starting point.

Ok. I think you deserve a +rep for your time.

Hmm... I wonder which critter to mutilate

I put the geosets in the Shadow Hunter's missile. I might try to edit the Lumber to make an item.

EDIT2: New texture?

Yeah, though there are differences between the show and the card game.

EDIT: How do I get the card to stop throbbing in the Item model?

Bobbing up and down might have something to do with translation. Go to the bone that you attached the geoset to and change the translation by setting the values to (0, 0, 0). Hope this helps. By the way, if you changed the texture to regular playing cards, I'm pretty sure people would find a use for it.

It's not bobbing up and down so much as pulsing in and out. I get a headache just watching it... Should I look for an item that doesn't throob like this and steal it's rotation values?

EDIT2: and would this do for a card?
