I got an idea for a team deathmatch map, two teams: 3 players on each team so its 3vs3, it starts with choice of class: Machine Gunner or Grenadier. Machine gunner has the marine model and the Grenadier has the model of a rifleman but shoots mortars, when every1 has choosed a class ur teleported to the "Buy Zone", here u can buy iteams and upgrades for ur little guy like Body Armor (+1 armor or/and Heavy Armor) Armor Piercing Bullets (+5 dmg or/and Piercing Attack, dunno) etc... When u enter the "Buy Zone" a timer will start, when the 30secs is over u will be teleported to the "Warzone" (and a sound will say FIGHT! like in mortal combat :D ) where u will fight the other team, when u kill an opponent u will get some gold to buy stuff, when all players have been killed u get 1 win, and u will be teleported back to the "Buy Zone" (when ur killed maybe u should lose ur iteam?) first to 12 wins, wins! What do u think? But tomorrow i will go AFK for 4 weeks so :/. And im thinking about a Tomb Raider locked camera view, dunno if thats good. Edit: Maybe the a lvl lock for the hero would be good. like the hero cant go over lvl1. |

I was thinking of doing something simmilar, but making it CTF. There are flag items, and if you add the propert "Capture The Flag" or whatever (the one without the race type behind it), it will show the flag on the unit with that item, so you could make a 6v6 game of ctf and make different classes just like in the "RPG" maps. You could make the different grenade types by making triggers to replace summoned units with an object and then move it around some like a bounce (or just replace grenades with different mine types, and do the explosion in scripting so they can have different effects, such as the 'medic' mine could poison people (you would need a neutral tower with a LOT of range and a fast projectile hiding somewhere with a poison shot that would shoot anybody hit by the mine), same for others. Trying to recreate TFC wouldnt be too hard (except u would need to change grenades to mines like I said). You could even make the spy disguisable (but it would show up as the real color on the minimap). Could turn out to be very interesting. After I finish my scenario map, and my defend map (which is NOT tower defense), I might try ctf. |
