I've hosted this map a few times, and many players think that this m ap has great potential. So, I'm currently summmiting this map for review, to gain some feedback and to make sure that I'm going on the right direction. Warlords and Regiments (Current Version: v0.09) by bountygiver and spiritviper (co-map author) Summary Choose a hero and conquer all other enemy players. Unlike your standard-AoS game, this map lets you fight against 3 teams instead of 1. The teams are based on the 4 major races of Warcraft 3, the Alliance, Horde, Scourge and the Sentinel. Each race has its own set of custom heroes and abilities. Defeat all 3 enemy teams to win. Suggested Players 2v2v2v2 or 3v3v3v3. You can't see what the game really has to offer with 1v1v1v1. Features -36 all new, custom made heroes, 9 for each race. Every hero has a set of custom made abilities, which mostly, involves a lengthly session of JASS scripting during the mapmaking process. -Heroes level up to Level 40, with 2 Standard Skills (Up to level 7), 1 Lesser Power (Up to Level 6) and 1 Ultimate (Up to level 5). -Buy from over 100 items, which includes 46 Combinations which require you to combine it from various different items. -A unique set of creeps for each race, which include Melee Units, Ranged Units, Flying Units and Siege Weapons. -Choose from 3 different game modes. -A massive wilderness area which allows you to engage in combat off-the-grid, stalk enemy heroes, buy items from secret shops scattered in the wilderness, heal from hidden fountains and spy enemy heroes from Revealers. -A somewhat hybrid Felwood-Ashenvale terrain combination covers the map, made with careful design, planning and balancing. (Terraining took me 80++ hours, actually) -A variable gameplay system. The style of the game changes as the game progresses. -Defeat your enemies, by any means necessary. No means are too harsh as you battle you foes in a war which only the best of all could survive. Credits -All credits are shown in the Quests (F9) tab in the actual map. Special Thanks to -Spiritviper, and his previous project (Plains of Glory, AoS). Without him this map could not be made. -The Hive Workshop, for the custom icons and models provided in-game. -Kattana, for the "Set HandleVars" script, for I am unable to use struts with the normal World Editor. I'm ready to accept any feedback or critique you may have for this map. Best if you list out the pros and cons for it, which will make it easier for me to make improvements. |

Wrong place. This is for submission into the Database, not your home for map feedback. You want "Map Testing". I can't move this (no privelages here >=(), but I'm sure Griffen or Dusk will spot it and move it. |
