Using Melee map Terrain

Just a quick question, is it a bad map making practice to use Melee Map terrain for your own projects?.

As in copying the terrain wholesale.

It's not a sign of quality, so that will reflect poorly on your map in the eyes of critics. But if the terrain is unimportant to gameplay, or suits you map, and the rest of the map is quality, then i doubt the fact you used stock terrain will somehow hold you back.
