Which sounds good for an arena: A) Heroes have one or two abilities that affect battle in a small way. Monsters and spells can be summoned and controlled from card items thrown from an NPC audience. An introduction, "half-time", and ending cinematic cut-scenes. B) Heroes and monsters from A. No cinematic cut-scenes. Hints and battle information will be dropped throughout the game. C) Standard Heroes, with creeps incoming. Cinematic cut-scenes from A. D) Standard Heroes, with creeps incoming. No cinematic cut-scenes. Hints and battle information will be dropped throughout the game. E) Hang it up kid! Go work on some other n00b project. |

[A] sounds interesting and new (card-based), but a generic arena-type map would fit the bill. The question is, what do you want to make? |

Screw cinematics, but keep it fresh. [b] |
