Could someone please help? I've played the original campaigns a long time ago and don't remember the races' locations: Humans: Lordaeron + Azeroth(?) High Elves: Quel'thalas Dwarves: Khaz Modan Orcs, Trolls and Tauren: Kalimdor (Barrens) Night Elves: Kalimdor (Ashenvale) Undead: Northrend Naga: Drowned Ruins (where is it? [aside "deep ocean"]) Where are the Outlands? North, south, east, west of what? Or... they're called outlands because they're "out of that world"? If someone can help: thanks! |

Outlands would be Out of our lands, yes. That's why sailors hate trying to find it, especially due to the apparent lack of water in Outland. According to the Frozen Throne campaigns, Naga are mutated Night Elves that were well, forced to live underwater when some calamity happened... when Olof's dinosaurs were still walking. Are you asking for the WoW locations or their original locations? |

Well, it all depends on which time you're talking about. Pre-RoC, RoC, pre-TFT, TFT, post-TFT, WoW, etc etc... Until we know that, we're just guessing. However: Humans: Lordaeron + Azeroth (the continent, not the whole world) High Elves: Quel'thalas Dwarves: Khaz Modan (Bronzebeard clan), Aerie Peak (Wildhammer clan), Blackrock Mountains (?) (Dark Iron clan, w/ Ragnaros). Orcs: Draenor, then Lordaeron/Azeroth, then Kalimdor Trolls (assuming Jungle Trolls only): Entire "pangaea" continent of Azeroth -> then (southern tip of) Azeroth. Darkspear tribe (guys with the Orcs) got exiled and sent out to Echo Isles (near the Maelstrom, the remains of the Sundering, a massive storm in the middle of the ocean where the Well of Eternity used to be). Orcs rescued them from the Sea Witch -> took to Kalimdor. Tauren: lived on the plains, around Barrens and stuff, driven off by marauding Centaurs and rescued by Thrall -> Mulgore (current home) Night Elves: Kalimdor (northern, forested portion) Undead: (*deep breath*). Started in Northrend with the Lich King, who stretched out his influence and began the Scourge we know and love in Lordaeron -> took over all of Lordaeron, split into the Forsaken + Scourge. -> Forsaken stayed in Lordaeron, took the underground city beneath the ruins of Lordaeron + Dalaran (= Undercity :P). -> (Most of the) Scourge (with Arthas; the rest stayed in Lordaeron w/ Kel'thuzad) relocated to Northrend, took over Icecrown, etc. (Iwhew*) Naga: after the collapse of the (1st) Well of Eternity, certain Night Elves were dragged down into the depths and mutated. They now base themselves -> around the Maelstrom, on the sea floor; home city = Naz'jatar (sp?) |

Outland = Draenor = Another planet/dimention. What kirby said is just about accurate. One thing that should probubly be mentioned is the collapse of the sunwell, the slaughtering of the high elves and the birth of the blood elves, who now inhabit Quel'Thalas. Whats left of the high elves take to the human cities. (stormwind) Another thing is that dalaran is not under scourge control. It has been razed by the scourge yes, but they moved on. In recent developments dalaran has even moved to northrend, actually, and is still under the control of the Arch Mages. |

Oh yeah, that's right. And yes, erwt is 100% correct; Outlands is the name of a region (one of the last remaining stable, unbroken portions) of a planet once known as Draenor; home to both the shamanistic Orc tribes and the "nice" Draenei (before Sargeras corruption and Archimonde/Kil'jaedan defectment). In other words: It's an entirely different planet; who-knows-how-far away from Azeroth (the "Wc3 Planet"). |

Wow. That's more than I know. Hmm... What I want to know is, how'd they move an entire city? Oh, wait. Magic. Never mind, forgot that was a factor. |

also, NE started around the well which in the sundering did its kablewy thingy, sunk the land in the center, creating two continents, and the survivors went to ashenvale, where illidan created the second well, then they grew the tree over it to seal it. |

Sometimes when a city is destroyed you rebuild it elsewhere, to prevent destruction once more. However, since this is wc3, I'd assume, yes, magic. |

No dalaran was moved with magic... but its recent wow lore (wotlk) so you could discard it and stick to what wc3 tells us. |

The Wizards did it. They picked Dalaran up and flew it to Northrend. No i am not shitting you. That's what they did. Frankly, i should have seen this coming. After the flying teleporting Spaceship Castle of Tempest Keep, flying Cities were clearly the next stage. No doubt Dalaran will be capable of interplanetary flight and deep-space exploration in the next Xpak. Or maybe one of the Lich King's Necropoli will achieve escape velocity and invade the moon. |

I'm surprised they managed to get it out of Northrend. I'm also wondering how many bricks they lost on the way. The Exodar is already capable of interplanetary flight, just doesn't land well. |

Yeah... that was just retarded, I mean: "Let's go teleport our main base with all our powerful wizards in it right into the battle zone floating above a graveyard full of dead dragons guarded by a dragon aspect and his flight intent on destroying all magic" |
