Is vJass so popular it is getting FUD already?

Err,

We know vJASS makes life easier for you, but it is something that we just cannot accept.

So, anyone has some info as to what these critical errors are?

Somebody should tell them that it's polite to report bugs if you encounter them.

I've never once had a problem with vJASS and critical errors... or heard anyone else saying that vJASS caused errors... Pheonix has the right idea IMO

I've had problems with critical errors, but only when there is a bug in my code, and that's been with normal JASS and vJASS...actually less with vJASS since my code is neater and less error prone.

Critical errors != Syntax errors.

It's because wc3WOW is a campaign and there was the bug that in campaigns vJASS it doesn't work properly.

"was"? If that's the case, shouldn't somebody tell them it's not there anymore?

If a newbie jasser sees more than 10 mistakes in the compiler, they call it critical.... even if it's due to a bad placed comma.

I think this translates to:

We're too lazy to download JGNP or Jasshelper, so no vJASS.

Craka_J (@THW) claims he's got a proof, but - according to him - he doesn't have time to show me the proof.
I doubt i'll ever see a valid proof.

Update:

I personally don't do either JASS or vJASS at all, so I cannot prove it. However, what happens when vJASS triggers are implemented to the campaign is that it does not allow you to save the map nor play the campaign. Gives you some error I believe, and forces you to remove it all.

Saitek009 is the one who discovered this. Ask him.

Can anyone confirm that?
