I have a tool (Leak Checker) that was not made by me in any way. But it's not here on the site, and I think it has a chance at being accepted, as it is rather helpful. So what are the guidelines for tool submission? Do I have to be the creator? Can I just post the URL of where to download it, or do I need to host it directly from myself (i.e., zip it back up, and put it up for download)? |

You would need written proof that the creator said you could submit it, I believe. And Leak Checker is for GUI, no? Pretty much everyone has moved to JASS/vJASS... but either way, I dunno it's true quality. I know it doesn't tell you where to fix your "leaks", and the fixes aren't always completely accurate... |

Eh, you're probably right. And I almost definitely couldn't get written permission; I don't know the guy, won't join TheHelper just for that. Meh, just a thought. |

You'd really need to get him to submit it. Moved to Site Discussion. |

i think the only way you woud be able to submit it would be if the author has moved away from wc3 modding |
