This little critter model of a mouse is not working for me. I do know how to change the pathing, because I got a couple other models to work just fine. I simply can't figure out the pathing on this one. I copy/pasted it from the original thread even:Mouse Critter Thread ---- |

1) unzip the pack and import all parts 2) change the path of the texture to "Textures\Mouse.blp" i) incase you dont know, you use the 'Import Manager' module in the ediitor, click on the texture, and you will see a box 'use custom path' (or sumthing to this effect). You should tick this box and type in 'Textures\Mouse.blp' into the box. 3) make your unit and give it the model 4) restart the world editor and take a look. 5) if it doesnt work post more info as to what happened! Else; enjoy! |

How many times people continue to ignore Mdx Pather ? |

oh, so youve done all that already... Texture path may be wrong (i doubt it tho), ill check. EDIT: nope, its got the right texture path "Textures\Mouse.blp" EDIT2: hang on, is the problem with the skin pathing, or with the pathing of the little critter ingame, as in, other units cant move close to it because it has big pathing/collision size? coz thats the only other issue i can think of that you could mean... |

I don't know what MDX Pather is. I just used plain old notepad to double-check the validity of paths. This is what my import manager says: Textures\Mouse.blp Mouse.mdx *pokes the mouse in dismay* Work, damn you! You're a main character! EDIT: I... I... I am at a loss for words. I decided out of sheer desperation to download the file again, and now it works! I did nothing different! Must have been corrupt? Thank you for your time. Sorry to bother everyone. ---- |

Oh, don't look so put upon. I do thank you for the help. I promise I will only ever ask for help after trying everything I know, including searching the forums for similiar problems. I honestly thought it was a problem with the model itself because I had done all the pathing correctly. The last time I had a file corrupt during download was when I had a 56k over ten years ago. lol ---- |
