Keyboard detection (related to another Thread)

Hello Wc3Campaigns-community,

I have a question related to this thread:Klick

The thread is a bit old, i know ;).

Well, as u can see, they discuss how to use Dialog box hotkeys, and sometimes it seems, that the guy who asked, how to, wanted to know, if u can detect keyboard keys by this way.

And this is my question too, as they never properly answered the question in this thread, and i never saw a solution to this problem ^^:

Is there any way, how to detect keyboard keys (not the arrow, esc key, and without dummy abilities)
Maybe with this function posted in the Link?

I tried with this function, but there is only a way to detect keys by pausing the game, as if there would be a normal dialogue...

A simple " no its not possible " would be nice too, if there is no way...

Oh sure there's a way, you can use dialogs, but it will pause the game, you can use custom natives but then you would need your players to use a game hack - not to mention grimoire has issues with patch 1.22 right now - So, yes, there are ways, but 'practical' ones nope, abilities are the only way.

Thank you for answering, hm y as i already posted, i knew that it was possible by pausing the game by kind of "hidden dialog"...
