Game Cache Question

How big can a single Game Cache be?

How big do you want it to be?

I believe at one point there was a file-size limit, so "hackers" couldn't flood your computer with useless data. But since Blizzard changed the method they used for gamecaches, im not so sure anymore.

I'm looking at possibly using the game cache to store info on items and mobs in my rpg.
