Pheonix's Artings (Updated 13/7/08)

This shall now be my Artings thread for this site. Hopefully, given enough time, it will have more pieces in it.
For now, it has 1 finished piece, and a WIP.

Also, rather than create a new thread for every arting i make. I shall just stick them in this thread and bump it when i update it.

This is intended to be part of a sort of pose shot of the JJ gang. I'm not sure if i'll put Spazz in there yet, since i don't really like his design, and i may run out of muse before i do Jazz, but i will get Lori done at least.

Looking at the image, i'm thinking her stomach seems a bit too long, what do you guys think?


Older Works

This piece was for Semester 1 of my Imaging course at Uni.
We were given completely free rein on what we wanted to do, the only rule was the piece had to be titled "The Meal"
"The Meal".

I think her stomache is fine, its just her left leg (our right) is at a 90º angle to her body, which is... not right.

The lines around her "happybits" should be the other way around.

Right now they're like: ( (
but they should be: ) )

and by happybits i mean vagina.

Subtle Erwt, very, very, subtle.

Made some changes to the lineart, specifically the head and hair to bring them more in line with the sprite, and to the happy bits that Erwt suggested.

Something still looks wrong with her belly to me.

And the head, hmm, possibly the legs need more tweaking too.

Also Ert, i think you're wrong about the happy bits.

Ok, Ert was partially right about the happy bits. He was right about where they should be facing in relation to the legs, but wrong about where they should be facing in relation to the picture, since i just realised i had her bottom half facing the wrong way around. Her chest was facing to the left of the image, while her legs and pelvis were facing to the right, which is why it looked strange.

Looks much better now.

Yeah, it does, but I can't say more.
Pedobear is looking at me.

If you scroll your monitor up a bit further while looking at Lori then Pedobear will be off the bottom of your screen and thus not looking at you.

Fenix needs critque of his arting, becaus Fenix hates having to make changes after colorings are started.

Pretty good so far, her eyes need to be more eye catching though. Brighter more saturated blues will do.

Sansui thinks her eyes should be black... black like my soul.
But seriously they look mad weird compared to the rest of it.


Oh and give her some lady hips her boy hips are turning sansui off.
plus her neck looks pretty thick compared to the width of her abdomen... and the position of the head looks a little off to, could be the left arm shoulder giving sansui the creeps.

It is NICE besides the point sansui is just overly picky.

The eyes are pissing me off. Every time i try to do them as large black pupils like it has in the sprite she just looks like she's tripping out, raraaaggh.
