Just want some feedback and what i can improve with this terrain. I want it to look like a shabby pirate hideout on the cliff.

Remove the big ship, it doesn't fit with the rest of the doodads, especially because the skin on it is very stretched.

Also the grass doodads doesn't look good close up, but if you are using this in a real map with a further view then nevermind.

About the tiles, on the cliffs you shouldn't use the brown'ish grass tile as it doesn't look good when stretched out like it is there. Rather have a bit monotome cliff than one that has stretched out skins all over it, it just doesn't look good.

Besides from that, good job. Very nice hideout. Add a few more decorative doodads and you've nailed it.

I need to see better tile variation before I can accept this as good terrain.

@ westwastingtime : Yeah i am gonna add some units later.

@ ragingspeedhorn : Removed the ship. To bad their isent any other good ship model that fits with the other doodads. Removed the bush model and removed the brown grass on the cliff.

@ Ikum-bokum : Whats wrong with the tile variation? Except those brown grass tiles.

Thanks for the feedback, the town is meant to be fully playable. Should i make the town a little bigger? Or those it look good like that?

Like raging mentioned, these tiles are stretched, making them ugly. Other than that, the rocks don't flow well with this smooth dirt you're using. Add some rough dirt, dark grass patches maybe. Work with it.

And please, call me frost ;)

The size is fine. If it got larger it would lose the feeling of a "secret hideout" that it has now.

If the ship is only for decoration then you could just piece it together yourself by using Olofmoleman's ship doodad set. Then you could also make it so people can walk onto the ship!

Also, maybe you could think about adding some doodads, like rocks and shrubs, around the place. Just to liven it up a bit.

Not bad. I understand that the textures are a little clashy, but that's something you can't fix without using different models.

Could be nice to decorate my map in a spot with such nice houses, since my map it rather ugly on details since it's both an RPG with far view and a AOS map. Do you use ingame doodads?
