It looks like your icon has an alpha layer which covers the entire icon. Try converting the icon to .tga, open it in an image editing program and then remove the alpha layer. Save and convert it back to .blp with war3veiwer. You will be asked to insert a blank alpha-layer, so hit accept. The icon should now work properly. |

Argh! I followed your directions, and finally got to where it asked me to add an "opaque alpha layer", and I said yes (forgetting your post). Now when I use it, it's solid White!! I'm using MGI Photosuite, just copy/pasted the icon image into another 64x64 image, then saved. It worked up until that point. Am I just not using an advanced-enough image editing program? |

I'm not so sure about that program, but it should work. You can always try create your own alpha layer in the editing program. Try saving it as 32 bit and then converting. If you are still having problems, post the icon here and I can do it for you in a sec. |

Huh? How in the world... I'll mess around a bit more, but I'll probably end up giving it to you. Would you prefer a PM to a Pastebin thread, or just make it public on here? |
