Now, while saving, my pc crashed. Now, when I open my campaign, nothing happens. So, is there backups of campaigns, or was that it?

Have you used the "Test map" or something command? That leaves an openable version somewhere.

No, I don't use that, because then it saves the map out of the campaign, and then it's the same thing...

Oh sorry I thought we were talking about maps... shit, sorry.

Now irrelevant
Hidden information:
Well there might be another one, try a search through your whole computer. I did that to find one model mixed in with over two thousand plus the other files which are unrelated. (As in a Ctrl + F search, not that file-by-file... that takes too long).

Not to be nagging you, but ensure to back up your maps every time a large amount/something significant has been established. I hope you get your map back somehow, though.

I have tried that.

I don't have any experience in this case, but have you tried to open the file with a MPQ-Editor? (Or is the file just empty (I don't know how the editor behaves in such an event))
