I've got this badass icy soundig MP3 for an upcoming map, but it's rather large, at 4.61 MB. Most of it is jusr repeating loops, though. So I was looknig for something to cut it down to size. Any programs you cna suggest? |

I personally use Switch for conversion and WavePad for editing. They're free (or at least, they should be. I've had them a long time), and are bundled together when you DL. They're easy to use and very useful. (It's how I cut that song at the intro of WPA down to only about 1.2mb) |

If you just want the sound quality (and by that the filesize) to get lower then you can convert with Windows Media Player. |

Really? I've had them for over a year and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. LAME is another good one, I hear. |

I can't figure out how to install LAME... It's like a thousand files but no EXE... |
