Azeroth Divided Map type: AoS Project progress: 90% (BETA testing) Team members: maddriver Map features: - 2 teams - 5 human players and 1 computer player in each team - dota style unit spawns and victory conditions - over 20 heroes for each team - over 100 spells - item shops - starting gold = 450 - 6 gold every 6 second for all players - when you kill an enemy hero you recieve gold and 1 lumber - each one of the 3 lanes have buildings (or zones) that can be conquered - on the middle lane there is only one building. it is an unique item shop. - the other 2 lanes (right and left) have 3 conquerable zones - a building is conquered when it is destroyed - the player who has conquered the region recieves 200 gold (250 gold if it is the unique item shop in the middle) and a 1 gold / 6 sec bonus - when a region is conquered, 2 defensive towers are spawned near that region, belonging to the player who conquered it - these regions have a high tactical position importance, needed in order to get closer to your enemy's base in that lane - there are 2 goblin shops near the middle control zones on both side lanes - goblin shops sell a zeppelin and an artilery unit - artilery unit is effective against buildings and towers and represent the main damage dealer in zone control battles. it cost 500 gold and 5 lumber - heroes are divided intro 5 jobs : tanks, casters, support, ranged and hybrids. each of them has a specific job during a battle - it is very important what hero combination each team uses - when a player types "-ms" it shows his hero's movement speed. more commands should be added in the next versions. - in order to win you need good teamplay and coordination Screenshots: ![]() Project Website: http://www.azerothdivided.co.nr Map overview: Image URL Download mirror - Beta Release (more mirrors can be found on the project website) |

I would like to thank all beta testers and everyone else that helped this map by giving suggestions or reporting bugs. Code:
- improved terrain - added 2 zones where random runes spawn every 1-2 minutes - added 1 hybrid hero for each team. Netherdemon for Horde and Rune Warrior for Alliance - added more spells - added more items - added Zeppelin and Siege Unit at Goblin Laboratory. Zeppelin costas 300 gold and 1 lumber, while Siege Unit costs 500 gold and 5 lumber. The Siege Unit is very usefull vs buildings. - fixed victory conditions - hero kills now give 1 lumber each - now you can't attack/kill allied units anymore - added -ms and -repick text commands - fixed various bugs - balanced heroes and gameplay constants The Rune Warrior - Alliance ![]() It is a hybrid type of hero. He comes from the Outlands, being requested by the mages to support the war against the Horde. He uses Rune Magic only, and all of his spells are based on Rune Magic. He has a healing rune spell, but also a Rune Shield, Rune Teleport and Rune Silence spells. The Netherdemon - Horde ![]() He is also a hybrid type of hero. He was kept hostage by the Alliance in Outlands, but escaped the prison being helped by a warlock. Now he returns to aid the Horde in their battle against the Alliance, trying to recover his lost powers. He uses Demonic spells such as a demonic healing spell, a Demonic Aura, Demonic Shield or Demonic Shout. He also has the abillity to convert friendly units into health.
