The orcs in the middle of the clearing were chanting words I could not understand, chanting in a voice that sent chills creeping up my spine. The vat in front of them was bubbling, overflowing with a thick green liquid that sent light spilling out past their wart-filled faces into the desolate trees. Their chanting reached a rising crescendo, then faded as the green liquid let out a series of sickening pops and began to ooze more than ever out the sides. A face--a baby's?--emerged from the vat, liquid churning and gurgling on his face almost like a second skin. His mouth was stretched in a ghastly grin and his eyes--his eyes were empty sockets that stared into the night. Remember, your terrain doesn't have to be the description (it never has to be)... Think creatively and/or make an excellent terrain of something whose dominant color is green. |

Ha, believe it or not I'm actually going to try something here. Looks like I finally have an excuse to map after 4 months of opening my WE for 10 seconds and then closing it because I have no motivation :P |

It looks pretty ugly, Penguin. It looks fine in the thumbnail, but...It's water, with boxes on it. But hey you did something! :D @ MC: Hey, thanks. I chuckled at the goblin thing after realizing that's what the picture is. Win. |

Hi everyone! Since I've already read all posts in the Trigger/Script-section twice, I decided to try some terraining :) * Edited the terrain slightly. Got rid of annoying green circle and scaled down shrubs, as suggested. Also lifted the thick fog which prevented vision of the far away elements in the picture. Maybe the Rock Chunks in front look out of place, hm... |

Back many years ago, I terrained like mad, now I decided to give it a go again Here's my weekly terrain for no. 87 with some background story A group of orc warlocks led by a troll witch doctor hired a group goblins led by a tinker, together they ventured deep into the woods and found a place long forgotten. Here they seek to unravel the mysteries of the mysterious objects residing within the mysterious den. |

Very nice entry Saber, good use of the theme. And yes, a little to literal, penguin. XD Themerion yours isn't bad. But try scaling up your trees and scaling down your shrubs. The shrub next to the orc is the same height as he is. Also, be aware of the evil green circle. It's great to see you back muldav. =) It's been a while. I dig you terrain, but I've never been a fan of blizzard trees. It could also possibly use a thicker fog. Other than that it's good. Excellent entries guys. Wish I had the time to open WE more these days. ![]() |
