Reminder about IRC

Have a mapping problem and want to see if you can get a quick response? Maybe need to discuss something in real time with people? Maybe just want a chat? If so, remember that you can drop into the WC3C IRC!

Either press on Chat at the top (which may or may not work; varies computer to computer based on settings like firewalls and stuff), or use an IRC client to go to:

66.103.20.109
Port: 6667

#wc3c, #dev

Remember that #dev is only for WC3 modding stuff; #wc3c can be used for anything (within reason).

Hope to see you there!

I've chatzilla installed into my firefox. The pluigin prefer a smart irc link to start automatically. (irc address)

If you have chatzilla plugin installed into your firefox and fixed the settings; click this url and chatzilla starts and autoconnects.

Why dont you just use quakenet server? it would make things much easier for many of us i guess.

It being on our servers is preferable for obvious reasons.

Well, it's almost back to that amount again, maybe 6-11 now depending on the given time.

The problem is that people that are "there" are often "not there at all".

There are now quite consistently more people; the problem is that they're all idle.

I stopped visiting again because of that reason. Also the fact that RDZ is never around when I drop by.

The whole point of IRC is to idle.

I don't understand the logic of not visiting because people idle. It takes zero effort to be on IRC, you just get on and say some stuff when others happen to be on at the same time and then idle yourself when you have other stuff to do.

Conversation lags of minutes are fine. Even hours or, sometimes, even days long time lags work.

It doesn't matter all people are idle in IRC, you can still come and idle yourself.
