Zub'Edon was a different ogre. He has born with one head, but blue skinned as a magi. But he didn't knew how to cast spells, so he went to Lordearon to learn from two-headed ogre magi's how to cast spells. He stayed with the magi's for about nine years, and everyone forgot from him. After he learnt the basics of magic, he became a great caster, and had the title "Archmagi". He wrote a book with spells, and from that day he always caried that book into battle. I don't know if that models quality is high enough to get approved, but i hope it is. Give credits to Deolrin or Debode if you use it in your map. DON'T distribute this model on other sites. DON'T edit this model without my permission. Screenshots and download: |

the face is a different shade from the rest of the skin, any reason for that? |

You really can't notice that in game. The face paint kind of offsets the difference anyways. This is an interesting model. I kinda like it. |

Hmm, i don't see how the face is different from the rest of the skin, thats the normal ogre magi head with hair added. Any suggestions how i can make it look more "natural"? btw, it is not my first model. I made some on the hive with different username. |

Kinda nice. I have no use for it, but it's good and generic, not too specialized. |

I agree. as a note, the name sounds more Trollish than Ogre-ish. |

Its just a name, it does not matter... |

I actually really like what you've done with this model. It's simple, it's clean, and combining the ogre mage head with the alchemist body is a stroke of genius. You really can't see the very slight tone difference unless you're right in his face. However, in cases like this of a single geomerge where you haven't actually done that much, we tend to demand packs... I'll need to discuss this with Olof or poke around the resource area for similar levels of model that have or have not been approved, and get back to you. |

Thanks for the comment, i am honored by it. A moderator never really liked a resource of mine, and really, thank you. Have more rep(not sure you actually need it :P). |

You know, I didn't really realize that it was on the alchemist's body. That IS cool. |

Sorry for nitpicking, but the name should possibly be Ogre Archmage. As "magi" is plural form of word "mage", and the reason why the ogres are called "Ogre Magi" is only because they got two heads. But I do like the model. |

Then again, technically a one-headed ogre mage is impossible, they're not smart enough to wield magic, only the two-headed ones are. But whatever, i'm not here to judge lore, i'm here to judge the art, and i say this is a pretty smooth and efficient blend of elements, good enough to be in our database. ~Approved~ |

Maybe I should not continue this, but there were one-headed ogre magi in WC3 (Rexxar campaign?). Stonemaul Mages or something. The model can be found from WC3 engine (name Stonemaul -something- I would say), so that would prove it is not impossibility to have one-headed ogre mage. |

Maybe the Stonemaul Ogres were sufficiently civilized/settled enough to pursue the various arcane arts. Didn't they have some kind of rudimentary farms in that part of the Rexxar campaigns? Or maybe it's more like a religion (which requires no intelligence... wait, no, C WUT I DID THERE?) based on a shamanistic connection between life and the "spirits" of the Earth and stuff. |
