So after several months of no ideas for terraining, i finally sat down and did something that's rather minimalistic... And poisonous. EDIT: Updated cause i felt like it. |

you should make the rocks blend together more. you can increase/decrease height/width and rotate/tilt them to make them "lock together". it takes more time but it makes it look more like a real rock formation than a bunch of rock that suddenly sprang out of the earth, looking like claws the fog and sky are very nice. reminiscent of some scenes in LOTR |

From the thumbnail it looks awesome, but I'd remove the rocks going across the...whatever it is down by the bottom-left. But it looks really nice though, great job. |

Yeah i see now that i could of improved upon the center rocks. Some of them have been 'burrowed' into the ground thoroughly but the rock tile gives an illusion that they are floating. I probably won't update, however. Quote:
Perverse river of poisonous, glowing water. =X Quote:
Thanks! |

yeah sabertooth, that guy ^ is the one i was talking about on b.net, aand evan, srsly? the clouds are waaay too bright and ruin the atmosphere, there's a floater rock on the silhouette of the cliff straight ahead in the middle of the picture (and that bunch of rocks shouldn't even BE on the silhouette because they luck awfully out of place. i like the overall formation of the terrain and the angle of the shot, good use of ground texture. you have a gift for naming things.. i wonder what kind of job that'll get you!? |

Yes I see the rocks you mean, I also see the one ever so slightly off the ground, mocking me. What would you suggest for darkening the clouds? Tinting? o.O Edit: No u <_< (HEY, NO NAME USAGE PL0X) |
