Yeah. Anyway, I'm a real nub at this entire process... but I have a very vague, general understanding that I'm trying to improve. First order of business is, as this was entitled, Aliens. I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with ModelEdit in the LithTech tools, let alone every other cog in the damn system. Anyway, I can assume that what I need is to chop up the model-- --with the textures, of course, and have the torso upwards in the portrait model. There also comes the question of possibly simplifying the skeleton of the AVP2 model to a simpler version for the WCIII model I have yet to make. That way, relevant animations could remain in the finished product. Like I said, the real obstacle is the fact that I know next to nothing about what I'm trying to do-- if anyone has any knowledge about .abc models it'd be greatly appreciated. If this works out, I'll do the same for the Predalien, Praetorian... maybe a couple others, but at this point in time, that's getting a bit too far ahead. All the same, I think AlienAntFarm's drone model was a great addition to the fray, and I'd like to see it built upon. |

Wait a sec, so you basically want to rip the models from AvP? That's not allowed or supported on this site, buddy. |

"for the WCIII model I have yet to make", not sure if he means that he wants to create his own based on the concept of that model, or if he just wants to rip and simplify it. No matter if the one or the other, I have no idea how to solve whatever problem you are facing. |
