Making Tower Face Unit

im working on a td and i was wondering how to make a tower be able to turn and face the unit that it attacks, basically how the ancient protector does it.

Base all your towers on Ancient Protecter and remove the Uproot ability using triggers when a tower is built.

Well it would be the easiest. All you would have to do is change the model and missle art.

sorry for the double post,
but i just changed the ancient protector model to an archer and the archer didnt turn to face the units it was attacking

its built into the model. top has turret tags i believe. any way you cant do it without model editing or triggers or making your towers units with no moment

I don't believe its built into the model. I've made it work before using some combination of abilities the ancient protector uses

Can you do it by the Unit - Make unit face (Angle or point or whatever)?

yeah but it doesnt look as smooth cause it just sort of jumps to the position and for some reason it always returns to the default tower degrees (270)

It's quite possible, I did it in a TD I was making a week earlier.
