Character editor

Hey guys, i know it sounds like a big chunk of work, but i nevertheless wanted to ask if anyone would have the knowledge of if it would be possible to program an editor in which the user would be able to change character's forms with a few mouseclicks...

my idea was to have various possibilities to change it, e.g. a number for height, one for chubbiness, one for muscles and the program would generate the character from that (to be precise it would deform a generic base character).

Afterwards youd be able to export it as .obj and work on it in Max, Zbrush or anything else...

Soul Calibur IV did it but you'd probably be working on composite pieces if you wanted to be that specific... though I can't imagine it being horribly useful in most cases due to the people like making more than people.

EDIT!
Fuck, forgot my answer.

Probably in a program that's really expensive, though I have little idea. Hopefully someone with more experience has an answer.

You could learn to export spore's models... if that's even feasible.

There's this program called "Alice" that I'm doing in computer studies (never use it, it's shit) but they have a model editor like that which lets you edit people figures. It's horrible to use in all honesty.

i know that quidam2 does something similar...

but i thought about something where you can add values and only the loepolyversion will be modified and you can export it to zbrush or whatever!
