[Request] 2 Simple Recolors

Hey there. I have two models that need a recolor; a Goblin Slasher and a Dark Troll Voodoomancer (obviously, not what they will be called once recolored...). Anyway, I'd do it myself, but regrettably I no longer have access to Photoshop of any sort. So here is:

For the Goblin, I'd like him to have Purple Skin. This unit is in the same vein as the Goblin Alchemist's Ogre mount; he's been pumped up on steroid-chemicals to increase his brawn, but had the side-effect of turning purple (?!). In fact, one could almost take the Purple off of the Alchemist directly. I dunno.

For the Troll, I would like him to be a Jungle Troll; that means (for the unitiated) a specific shade of grayish-blue. I'm not artist, so I couldn't tell you what that is; check the Shadow Hunter/Witch Doctor/Headhunter/Batrider/Berserker skins as a reference. The only thing I would add is that, for diversity's sake, please make it a bit darker tinted than the regular Jungle Troll skin; he's supposed to be pretty evil.

Anyway, I was going to just post these up here, but I'd rather use a Pastebin, if possible (if I'm wrong, though, then just tell me). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

How is anyone supposed to do these recolors without either the textures or the models?

Ill do it if you give me the textures and the models... since i don't see any link to your pastebin.

If I put up the link to the pastebin, that would defeat the purpose of the Pastebin entirely; why not just post the models/skins themselves?...

Alright, Pastebin set up, PM sent.

Okay, im done. The troll was easy, since he uses only in-game textures, so i just switched the texture. The goblin was harder, since he uses both ingame and custom textures. So, i made the ingame one custom and... well, nevermind, here their are, just delete the "war3imported\" from the path when you import, and... enjoy!

(I'm beginning to think I should've just posted the model and stuff on the first post :/...)

In retrospect, I should've posted a picture of the ideal purple (since I'm know "purple" is rather vague)...



Then again, maybe I should've just asked Handclaw for this, since it's unused; might've saved you some work. Meh. Thanks!

Erm, the Troll has no skin; or rather, the .rar has no Troll skin in it. ?? Unless it draws from ingame (doesn't show on Wc3Viewer)

I realized what you did, and that I can do it too. So I just made him use the Ice Troll Shadow Priest skin (Ice Troll skin color is *basically* close enough). You don't need to redo him, thanks for the Goblin, though. :P

(If anyone wants to make the Troll a "real" Jungle Troll, for kicks or practice, just PM me.
