Can this be done? For instance, on my map it goes: Melee gets an extra damage bonus against Ranged. Ranged gets an extra damage bonus against Magic. Magic gets an extra damage bonus against Melee. Well, I have a dueling area in my map and I was thinking if there was a way to do this it would balance the duel better. If it could be done I would change both Hero's armor/weapon type to hero so they do no extra dmg to any type. Is this possible? |

You cannot change them through triggers. However, if you wanted to, you could copy-paste all your hero units in the object editor, then change their armor types to hero. Then, when the duel starts replace their hero with the one of the same type with hero armor. The hero will retain all their items and experience but the players will have to reactivate autocast on abilities and ability cooldowns will be reset. |

Oooo. There's an idea... Hmmmm would u have to relearn all the spells or would they remain the same? |

You can also do it via upgrades, or at least I thought it was possible, but looking at the list of upgrade effects available I only find Defense Type Change I also have a faint memory of WEU or something being able of doing this through new natives. Otherwise, the Chaos Orc abilities for replacing units could come in handy if you were to make duplicate units but there really should be far more efficient ways |

I use WEU and just looked threw all actions and didn't see anything like that but then again I have no idea what a native is :o |
