[Request] Some Particle Thingoes

Aight, I have a request (yet again). The first three are more important than the rest (as a matter of fact, I can go without them but I'd rather have them).

Here are some requirements I have though (due to my personal compulsions and obsessions with imports):
- Custom textures ARE allowed but I'd rather they weren't used at all
- File size must be no larger than 30kb unless necessary (50 if it has a texture)
- If possible, try to optimize/squish the model unless it kills it

Anyway, here is what I need:

#1 completed

1. Dense smoke cloud (based on Disease Cloud)
This will be used with a smoke bomb to obstruct vision, making tactics difficult to pull off and maybe even frustrating if done correctly.
  • Emits over a larger radius (roughly 2x) than the original
  • Emits grey clouds instead of green (I think unholy frenzy has those)
  • Particles are thick and large enough to obscure vision
  • I'd prefer less larger particles instead of more smaller ones due to lag issues
  • Needs a birth animation which shoots out clouds (optional)
  • Needs a stand animation which is the normal emissions (optional)
  • Needs a death animation where it stops emitting (optional)



2. Sparklers (based on Night Elf building death)
This will be combined with triggers to blank someone's screen and blind them if done correctly, making tactics impossible if done correctly.
  • Replace the "crest" at the top with large white sparkles
  • Replace the bigger trail of sparkles with white sparkles
  • Replace the smaller white sparkles with small grey smoke puffs (not too many, not cartoony)
  • For the sparkles, preferably use the invisibility sparkle (without ribbons preferably)

3. Bottle bomb (based on the Pandaren's beer bottle missile)
This will be used with various bombs.
  • Needs the birth animation to make that throwing noise
  • Needs the stand animation to spin around 20-50% slower and instead of beer droplets maybe some puffs of fire (like with Phoenix Fire <Buff>) but not too many
  • Needs the death animation to make a small smoke burst (not cartoony, though)

4. Heal sparkle (I have no idea what to base this on to be honest)
This will be used with healing items.
  • Emits a few pink (not red) sparkles that go towards the center point
  • Doesn't need any animations but should last around 1.5 sec
  • Should be roughly the same size as heal

5. Energy sparkle (I have no idea what to base this on to be honest)
This will be used with energy replenishing items.
  • Emits a few blue sparkles that go towards the center point
  • Doesn't need any animations but should last around 1.5 sec
  • Should be roughly the same size as heal

6. Refill sparkle (I have no idea what to base this on to be honest)
This will be used with energy replenishing + healing items.
  • Emits a few purple sparkles that go towards the center point
  • Doesn't need any animations but should last around 1.5 sec
  • Should be roughly the same size as heal

7. Chemical bomb (based on Acid Bomb <Missile>)
  • Remove particle emitters from stand animation
  • Replace acid explosion with smoke-puffs (non-cartoony) on death animation

You will be credited and repped, I hope for positive responses. As far as I can tell, all of these can be done by model edits as opposed to scratch-rendering and coding.

Hmm... Hope someone doesn't get to this first, because I feel the need to get more rep make some simple edits to help out.

But for now, Brawl awaits. :P

Hm, would it be possible to make the particles not so... black... and more greyish? This'd serve well as a demonic summoning smoke, but I'm after a smoke-bomb smoke. If it's not possible, this would do.

Though there is one change I do request... make the death animation last around 10 seconds or something - at the moment, the particles spread and then randomly disappear (in game anyway).

I can change color, but I'm not sure what I can do about the Death anim. That's the way the normal Cloud model dissipates in TFT (the particles spread to their fullest distance, and disappear; more noticeable as more particles disappear.)

Hm, that's a lot closer to what I'm looking for. Oh well, if the death anim can't be changed then that sucks I guess.

Not to be picky, but if it was slighty darker (about 15% darker) it'd be exactly what I want. :P

But if you don't really want to do that part, that's okay. Thanks for the work so far!

No problem, man. Color-change is easy; just pick a different value on the big color wheel, and use the slider for tinting. Easy-peesy. (although "15%" is hard to translate into a slider of color tinting, but whatever...)

(I'm sure the Death anim can be changed somehow, just I don't know. :/...)

Yea, well... I wouldn't take it as a hard-n-fast promise. I'll do what I can, but people may decide to get some free rep, too. Also, I may just get busy; heck, I just wasted ~1 hour doing random stuff when I was trying to focus on one thing. Story of my life...

But your requests might give me something to focus on, sfx-wise. So I'll see what I can do. :P
