Master Of The Arena - http://www.wc3campaigns.net/pastebin...66#post1035366 ~ By Axzarious Summary: The History- Well, It initially started as an idea for a mix between a hero arena, Aeon Of Strife, and Footman Frenzy, and then It became what It is now. However, while racking my mind as some people had lag issues to some people, and there were some other bugs that people had experianced that I had not, and no Idea on how to fix, I have decided to revamp my map. Keep in mind that the version there now is still a beta, and is changing from this version as well. I plan to completly rehaul everything. I will be adding vexorians newest caster system and replacing other things that seem problematic. I have no idea what causes the lag issues that some experiance, and this is an attempt to fix it.... Well onto the main area. Main- -In this newer version, I will be adding 3 game modes that can be chosen at the beginning- A Footman Frenzy Style, Aeon Of Strife Style, and lastly a Hero Arena style. I will try to put my own spin on everything with elements from all mixed in. -I am still focusing on the multimedia theme with Comic, Video Game, and Anime characters being the focus for the map. Although some people may be fairly close, I will try to the best of my ability to have all people differentiated as much as possible. I aim to have this map fast paced with tons of mayhem made through random events, limit breaks, and a wide variety of skills. Problems I have and need some feedback on- -Okay, at first I have tried to include 5 skills for everybody, but for some people I have the diffuculty thinking up one or two skills (While not making something up that they dont have). This will be more diffucult if I include limit breaks which would definatley add more mayhem... Although I could make them over the top ultimates. -Should I include an 'evasion' ability? Basically just a 1 second divine shield that could be used to evade attacks.... Although I would prefferable want to have somebody avoid the ability to dodge an ultimate. I might make cooldowns 5-20 seconds (20 being for an ultimate) to make up for this, and enhance the mayhem factor. Things I hope to achieve that I have no idea how to impliment right now- -The ability to choose from the 3 game modes at the beginning. -How to build the Hero arena type thing with monsters scaling to level. -Random Events -Limit Breaks Features: -3 game modes -Recipes and items will be available for all modes and will focus on abilities over stats. -A wide selection of heroes and abilities Team: Just me for now. Items that I aim to have for the launch are 50% finished (This includes abilities) Misc.: Dont know what to put here for now. |

Attached the map to my main post here. Its still in the rough beta, and im rehauling it. Critique on what I got now would be nice too. |
