ok, so.... ive had paint.net for a while now, and i noticed that there is a plugin for it to edit .blp files. so i DLed the plug-in. all worked fine when i edited a tileset. ( just changed the hue of the "poison" tileset to a golden-yellow ) anyway, i imported it into my map and changed the path to "TerrainArt\Cityscape\City_WhiteMarble.blp ( to replace the white marble tile i wasnt using anyway ). that was a mistake. now the worldeditor crashes everytime i load the map. im pretty sure it has to do with the fact that the tilesets are different sizes, and arent "compatable" thats what im guessing... anyway, is there any possible way to edit this map without opening it in worldediter? a hex editor maybe? |

Tilesets that are the "wrong size" won't actually break -- they'll just appear corrupt until you reload WE (refreshing textures won't work at all). This is a good trick to get the full 13 tiles if you're not worried about filesize or piles of tile variations. |
