So apparently I can only understand Wings3d for the modeling, Milkshape for simple bone and joint construction, and lithunwrap for uv mapping.

I am sooo inefficient. I downloaded Blender, took a few minutes looking at it, and put it away for a bit.
At anyrate, a 2 bit irate villager.

Fucking awful hands. I'll revisit the texture later... and maybe the uv wrap (the sides of the arms and body and legs are stretched)

looks...normal, but why don't you attach the stuff together?

That looks quite sweet, actually. Nice and low-poly.

Perhaps the torso is too long and the legs too short, though?

Because of uvwrapping issues. Its so confusing because lithunwrap takes the model and lays it into a 2d format of my choosing. But I dont get to select groups or faces and assign them to the section from the 3d model.

(but its also because I suck and can't work with one group)
Skin Update, I also gave him breathing animations but milkshape can only export it as a very bad avi.

god this guy is funny, i originally thought he was stabling him self, and then he went and got old. i think the biggest problem with him is the skin, which looks like it was made in MS paint. his arms are also kinda spindly

I try. The skin is me being extremely lazy. TDR can attest to that.

The low polyness and the basicness of the skins intrigues me and makes me think of cell shaded graphics...avery nice

The elf is sweet. I could squish some time to texture them if you direly need it. :P

Thanks for the kindness, I just have to fix up the uv a bit more because some parts (like the belt) stretch.
