Basically its about some treants who survive the destruction of their forest.
Does it get much simpler?

I like it. It has a very good mood. You should raise it on some places though, cus it's flat, and maybe add some smoke and then it would be perfect.

E: One more thing; unselecting the camera could be a good idea.

Tint the trees a darker color or something. Their bright green looks terribly out of place among the other dead trees.

perhaps I should use the Proctector of the Pine skin?

Whoah, meant Treants by trees, but you got the idea. I dunno, that might work, but just experiment with it.

Well maybe it's because the treants are living and the trees are not.

its a bit dumb that its raining in the burned-down forest.

Unless its ACID RAIN, lawls.

if it burned and then the rain put it out it would be a burned down forest as apposed to wasteland.

Yes, but it completely disrupts the mood of the picture, in my opinion, to see that bright green there.

Includes more rought terrain, reduced fog and a more "Burnt Forest" feel I think.
