As idiotic as it sounds, Im making a triggered version of the Root ability.
I tried using a standard transform skill but it had certain issues.

I need to know how is the easiest and foolproof way to.
1) Disable\Enable Attacks
2)Disable\Enable Movement

Really, why?

You can disable attacks by adding the Cargo Hold ability to a unit.

Th reason why iwanted to trigger i is due to root abilities "targeting" when you wnat to reroot the ancient.

This of course is disrupted by foes standing in the area.

My version of root is a target spell. Just press to root and unroot.

Im currently using a replace unit trigger. It owrks fine but is aethetically quite jerky when rooting.

How about the Goblin Tinker's Tank/Foot Form ability? Go from mobile to stationary alternate and back?

Goblins Tank form is still mobile.

How about Bear Form, to a unit with no movement whatsoever. I believe it is Bear Form(correct me if I am wrong) which is used in this map called Desert of Exile, where it's used as a Burrow-type of ability, the morphed unit can't move or attack.

I tried Bear Form at first but, the Tranforming unit always turns invisible when it reverts to normal form.

Just as a note, the transformed stationary unit is classified as a building.

It should work but like I siad the resulting uni ends up being invisible.
It still leaves a shadow and is selectable though.
