WT 89 - Multicolor

09-20-2008, 01:52 PM#1
[Death]
Terrain something that has two or more dominant colors (or one dominant and the others less prominent - see the waterfall picture). This also marks my last WT. It's been fun, guys. Maybe we'll meet again in another lifetime, perhaps better known as when SC2 comes out.

Here's lots of examples! (Mine are only here because it's short notice :P)

ghenjis will most likely just make every WT from now on I guess, either that or it comes to an end, but then again Wc3c is a bit quiet these days anyways.

I'd be more than willing to help. I really like these things and don't want to see them die.

Tried to create a view from front door into the wilderness. Accenting colors mainly on small objects.

@Omnimancer : Nice one, really likes the lightning coming from the sky but you should have used some different rocks.

@bur : I just love the first one with the tree house, just pure amazing.

Thanks, I just used 'small stacks' or something like that off the Ultimate Terraining Map and stacked them up like Lincoln Logs, easy enough to do in only about 2 minutes.

I'm really happy to see a lot of veteran terrainers coming back. And hope to see more. As unfortunate as it is to see [Death] resign his position as our dedicated terrain mod, he has set the bar and standard very high for us, and should be very much appreciated for the time he put into this board. Nonetheless, I will continue to run this board now with the help of 2-P, whom I'm sure you all are familiar with his brilliant terrains. Anyway, I hope that we may even still see some terrains from [Death] and maybe he'll still be lurking around from time to time. In closing, I'd like to thank you for all the hard work you've done, and reminding you that is has far from gone unnoticed.

This one is weird but it's still multicolor. The week is almost over and there's barely any posts here. Looking forward to next WT

I like everything except the rocks/flowers and that 1 barran's tree. I think it's pretty creative.

Yawn, since I don't really terrain any more, I'll just post this old work of mine, which I don't think I've posted anywhere else aside from a challenge that backfired on me.

So yeah, I bring you A Distant World...

I like that idea, Ikum-bokum. The colors are also very good looking.

Have fun with whatever's next on your plan. Thank you for keeping the WT alive over the last years. I hope that you're still going to pop in every once in a while!

Omnimancer:
I prefer your first shot. The green rocks seem kinda out of place, but they show of the color difference really well.

There are too many different trees in the second screenshot, they don't fit together. And the black nothing of underground looks weird.
