I can get the tools to make an MPQ (For I've done so for SC before), but what do I do from there? Where do I name and place it for it to work? Any other pointers I need to know? |

I am not sur that I understand what you are looking for but if you want to replace the sounds of the units by your custom sounds you will have to put your .wav in the mpq in the same folder and name then the original sounds. ie for Human Footman : Units\Human\Footman\FootmanDeath.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanPissed1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanPissed2.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanPissed3.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanPissed4.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanReady1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanWarcry1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanWhat1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanWhat2.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanWhat3.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanWhat4.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYes1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYes2.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYes3.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYes4.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYesAttack1.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYesAttack2.wav Units\Human\Footman\FootmanYesAttack3.wav Hope this helps. |
