Not that I can help, but to assist in clarity, you want a Starfall-like model with a blessed sword instead of a star?

Well i think thats an relative easy thing to do you only need an sword model, then you make a new unit and give it that model. Then use the "roll angle" field in the object editor to turn it in the direction you want it. (use negative numbers for it works with the shift key trick)

Then you set the flying height of the unit to 200? And change the other fields also to flying so its actually flying in the air.
When that is done, you create the unit per trigger ingame, and change the movement height ingame under Animation to zero.

And its done.

The problem is, most sword models do not have death anim...and i see nowhere has a nice model with blur effect...

Dunno if it works but cant you chance tinting and visibility ingame per trigger too, so you can give them a "ghosty" effect.
And you could trigger the death animation by timing a sfx and the remove of the unit.
