New Hosted Project: Obsidian Depths

Second new hosted project in a month's time, there has to be something wrong!
Anyways, it's kind of awkward being made Projects Director only to then have my project approved,
but hey, without further delay or a cool banner, I introduce you to...

Obsidian Depths is a fast-paced multiplayer dungeon crawler map of survival and dynamic gameplay. It supplies players with a vibrantly changing environment that requires they adapt to it or fall by the wayside. The map isn't for the faint of heart, though, as it was designed with the ultimate level of difficulty in mind. Each and every one of its 10 levels and 13 bosses is crafted with its own theme and requirements players must meet to complete it.

The project has been developed almost in secret over the past few months. It received a boon of active work done to it recently, taking it to a 75% completion or so. I've been around for a few years at this point and have lots to show for my time in the modding community, including AotZ and DoE, both respectable maps of the AoS genre. However, finally breaching into other genres, I decided to pursue something I've wanted to work on for almost a year. With KrewL_RaiN heading up the art and (most of the) terrain development for the map, good things are going to happen!

So head on over to the Obsidian Depths Development Forum and give a bit of feedback here and there on your favorite (or least favorite) levels, heroes, and features! If you've got some crazy ideas that might make the map better, pop by and let me know! I'll make it a point to respond to any posted comment.

On behalf of WC3C and the staff, I'd like to formally welcome err.. Me! to the ranks of hosted projects. I sure do plan to be working on it a lot and can guarantee that there are lots of good times to be had!

Of course he didn't approve it; the job of the projects director is to liase with projects, support them, etc (and of course the projects forum section). The actual approval of all hosted projects is done by a full director vote, needing at least 3 approvals. Dusk, obviously, didn't get to vote in that.
