Would you play this map?

Im thinking of a single player campaign which works simillar to the "Founding of Durotar" in which you control little units across many levels.

The story goes as such...
The player controls a Titan, a demigod sent across the vastness of space to bring the mortal world to its knees. However the Titan must recharge his strength before he is able to conquer the mortal world.

Simply the player controls a single titan which starts of really small and as the levels go by gets bigger and stronger. By the end of the game the Titan would be able to level entire armies in a single swipe, this doesnt mean it gets easier as the game progresses.

Would you play such a campaign or is it just epic fail?

I'd play it if the campaign wasn't epic fail.

I'm curious: how would you go about this task?

Basically the first level the Titan would start of really tiny killing spiders, rats etc.

As he gets stronger he can solo single humans and then groups of humans.

The real action begins when he turns into a 1 man army where I plan the objective being to absorb certain "power stones".

If the player completes this, a final cutscene shows the titan grow to epic proportions and then levelling an entire forest with a single swipe.

Thats the current plan.

now you spoilered the whole story :(
However, I still like the idea :D somehow reminds me of the gamecube game "Doshin the Giant", but well ~
What I fear though is that those parts where you only kill spiders or single enemies might get boring if they're lasting for too long, or that, as a 1-man-army your giant is just so megauberduperimba that its not funny anymore.
But if you manage to avoid that, it sounds like a nice concept. :D

Rexxar campaign is made of win (except for the fact that it's based around Orcs), so yes.

When I meant 1 man army in refering to like Rexxar in the orc bonus campaign. Note how he can solo almost anything...

Since you've made 2 succesful campaigns here i guess I can trust you on this.

this sounds like one of those shitty orpgs. its like an mmo but its not massive and there's not quests...

Hey, stomping rats with a Titan sounds like fun! I'd like to see him pull it off.

yeah, but i don't want to grind to get there. i think it'd be more interesting to have an army and have them fight and do it like aos morphing

Well, what I meant was a single player campaign and what I posted is a Very rough outline which can be worked on anyway.

Great idea, but the way you're making it sounds terribly like, "girnd grind girnd pWN PWN PWN grind grind grind pWN PWN PWN" which is horrible IMO. Perhaps make it interesting, like with quests, interacting with other races etc.

^^ Thats pretty mandatory for any campaign, so yeah there will be other things to do.

Yes, I was kind of assuming the usual gubbins would be there too.

A campaign entirely of grind grind grind without any discernable storyline is completely unthinkable.

Maybe the story of how Sargeras became evil and started fighting his fellow Titans?
